RADCON positions with Constellation Energy and the Southern Company
CPS, Inc. is recruiting for ANSI 3.1 Senior Radiological Control Technicians to support outage work with Constellation Energy and the Southern Company:
-Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (Lusby, Maryland. -Ginna Nuclear Generating Station (Ontario, New York) -Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station (Oswego, New York) -Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Waynesboro , Georgia -Hatch Nuclear Power Plant (Baxley, Georgia) -Farley Nuclear Generating Station (Dothan, Alabama)
NOTE: CPS is looking to hire 54 ANSI 3.1 Senior Radiological Control Technicians. We are heavily recruiting for 24 RTCs to start either immediately or within the next 2-weeks and the remaining 30 to start in March.
The qualified candidates will be responsible for: regularly determining radioactivity levels, evaluating conditions based on technical knowledge in radiation protection, prescribing required protective measures and maintaining control in ensuring that workers follow those radiation protection procedures required by federal and state regulations and the site license and procedures.
Requirements: 1. Be at least of high school level or equivalent 2. Possess applicable ANSI 3.1 qualifications as a radiation protection technician 3. Maybe required to pass an entrance test
CPS, Inc. is offering pay ranges between $30 to $35 per hour with $90/day per diem 7-days per week and a $500 move in/out allowance.

RADCON position with SRR in Aiken, SC
In addition to the above positions, CPS also has multiple opening for Radcon Inspectors at Savannah River SRR in Aiken, SC. Candidates must successfully complete initial Radiological Control Inspector training requirements and all required facility-specific training and qualification requirements (i.e. SRRs DOE Core Exam, a refresher training will be provided.)
Requirements: SGL 18 position is: 12 months with no previous related experience above SGL 16 entry requirements, 11 months with 1 year previous related experience above SGL 16 entry requirements, 10 months with 2 years previous related experience above SGL 16 entry requirements, 9 months with 3 years previous related experience above SGL 16 entry requirements, 8 months with 4 years previous related experience above SGL 16 entry requirements
CPS, Inc. is offering competitive pay ranges with $13.35/day per diem for candidates outside a 100 mile radius of SRR.
